We are currently seeking a Technical Sales / Account Manager to generate sales and carry out account management
for Mentor Graphics products and services in North America.
Description:
The sales representative will sell our Mentor Graphics suite of software products (FloTHERM, FloEFD, FloTHERM.PCB, FloTHERM.PACK),
training and consulting services to mechanical engineering companies in Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado.
The candidate must be a highly motivated professional with the ability to sell high quality technical solutions and/or products.
Other key skills include:
- Top achiever with a proven track record in sales of a technical product or consultancy
- Ability to qualify and develop new businesses quickly
- Direct selling experience with proven success versus annual quotas
- Presentation, oral and written communication skills must be outstanding
- Must possess excellent internal cross-functional teaming and leadership skills
- BS/BA required (Engineering experience is a plus)
- Must possess experience in high technology selling within the western part of the US
- Strong computer based skills including Microsoft products and a CRM program like Saleslogix.
- A high degree of self motivation and the ability to multi-task
- Pluses include:
- Direct sales experience with CAE, CAD software
- Strong understanding of the electronics engineering market
- Experience selling to US Government
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Greencard).

The ideal candidate would work from their home in Southern California or possibly any of the states listed above.
