Flomerics Group PLC - Gary Carter appointed as Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Flomerics Group PLC is pleased to announce that Gary Carter, who joined the company in January 2005 as Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. This is the culmination of the previously announced intention to ensure a smooth transition of the management of the Company.

David Tatchell the co-founder of the company and Chief Executive since 1989 will move into the role of Chief Technology Officer enabling the Company to continue to benefit from his invaluable depth of knowledge of the Company's products and underlying technology.

Flomerics Group recently announced Interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2005. Turnover for the six months ended 30 June 2005 was up 19% at £5.3 million (2004 : £4.4 million) (excluding contribution from the MicReD acquisition, turnover up 13% at £5.0 million) and a record profit (before tax and amortisation of goodwill) for the half year of £380,000 (2004 : £65,000 loss).
