FLOTHERM Version 6.1 System Requirements
This version of FLOTHERM is available on Microsoft Windows and Sun Solaris operating systems.
FLOTHERM is partially available on HP-UX and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Support on these platforms is limited to following components: Thermal Solver, Exchange Factor Generator (EFG), Volunteer GUI and Volunteer daemon. FlexNET license server is also available on HP-UX.
Platform Specific Requirements
Microsoft Windows, 32-bit editions
Supported operating systems:
- Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 3 or Service Pack 4
- Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2
- Windows Server 2003, Standard and Enterprise editions
Hardware requirements:
- x86-compatible Intel or AMD processor, minimum 1GHz Pentium III
- 512 MB system memory (RAM), 1 GB recommended
- graphics card with OpenGL support and minimum 64 MB memory
Microsoft Windows, 64-bit editions
Supported operating systems:
- Windows XP Professional x64 edition
- Windows Server 2003 x64 editions (Standard and Enterprise)

- 64-bit capable AMD processor or an Intel processor with EM64T
- 512 MB system memory (RAM), 1 GB recommended
- graphics card with OpenGL support and minimum 64 MB memory
Sun Solaris

- Sun Solaris 8 (SPARC) with Release 5/03
- Sun Solaris 9 (SPARC) with Release 9/04
