The Computer Name and
Physical address of ethernet adapter card of a machine are obtained as
follows:
Windows NT/2000/XP:
1. Enter a Command Prompt (DOS Window)
2. Type the following command
C:\>ipconfig /all |more
3. The Computer Name is denoted as such. The Physical address of
ethernet adapter card is an alpha-numeric string and is denoted as
the Physical Address.
In the example below Computer Name: Yosemite.ca.flomerics.com Physical address of ethernet adapter card: 00-50-DA-2F-8D-6C
